So, here is my entry to the contest of the Grimm brother held by *Snowy-Ninja :iconsnowy-ninja: . Hope you like it!

The story I have chosen is The Seven Ravens. (you can read it here if you want so [link]). In few words, a girl has to be mute for seven years (one for each of her brothers), who were turned into ravens by a curse. Of course, she succeeds and they are happy for ever after.

I wanted to show the girls muteness (does that word actually exist?), and her raven brothers. Do you think that the shadows and brightnesses destroy the effect of the ravens coming out of her hair? I actually think so, that's why maybe in a near future I'll change this file for another one (maybe changing the shadows.. who knows).

So I hope, as I always do, that you like this piece too :3

This is a very interesting picture. The girl's flowing hair, the flying ravens, and the falling feathers really add chaos to the scene. However, the girl remains silent and calm, clearly focused on helping her seven brothers. Very nicely done! ^_^

My suggestion would be that you should make her upper arm a bit shorter and her hands a bit smaller.

yeah, arms were a little fail, and I just don't seem to get the right meassure for hands (sometimes too small, others too big.. you know xD)

You will get better with practice. ^_^ From the bottom of the hand to the tip of the middle finger should be almost the length of the face but a little shorter.
